I am an RHS qualified Horticulturalist, practical grower, skilled in all things kitchen garden, propagating and pruning. After a career in London, including various roles, in Photography, fashion and magazines, I became a mother to two boys. I re-trained at Lackham college in 2013 and successfully completed a year as a WRAGS (Work and Retrain As a Gardener scheme) trainee with the WFGA. I have since worked part-time, largely in gardens with significant horticultural history including Heale and Reddish for the last decade.
My passion is growing: vegetables, flowers, helping people to enjoy their gardens and get stuck into making it look beautiful AND productive. After recent illness, I can no longer carry out heavy tasks such as hedge cutting, mowing and lifting. I am now exclusively working in maintaining borders, pruning (Including specialisms such as roses), training plants, propagating, curating and planting kitchen gardens and cut flowers. I have experience in no dig and am at my happiest in a greenhouse making plants thrive.
